This is a technical comparison between two new smartphones: Nokia X7 and Blackberry Bold Touch 9900, that have different operating systems, so we’ll put that aside.
First of all we will compare the size and weight. Nokia measures 119.7 x 62.8 x 11.9 mm and weights 146 g, while Blackberry has 115 x 66 x 10.5 mm and 130 g, resulting that Nokia is slightly bigger then it’s opponent.
But being bigger means, in this case, a bigger display. Thus Nokia has a 4 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors with 360 x 640 pixels, compared to Blackberry, which has a 2.8 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen and 640 x 480 pixels. It is strange that Nokia X7 has a bigger display but less pixels and a more advanced screen technology.
The internal memory puts Nokia in the lead, having 8 GB storage space, 256 MB RAM and 1 GB ROM, while Blackberry also has 8 GB storage space but only 768 MB RAM. The next chapter is the camera. Nokia X7 is declared winner through a 8 MP, 3264×2448 pixels, with fixed focus and dual-LED flash, compared to Blackberry Bold Touch 9900, which has a 5 MP camera, 2592×1944 pixels, with autofocus and LED flash.
