Huawei Sonic Android v2.3

Today Huawei held a media event up in Sydney to showcase some of their existing and new products that they plan to launch here in Australia before the end of the year. Besides mentions and a showing off of the MediaPad, Huawei announced that the Huawei Sonic is launching here in Australia and will sell via retail stores Dick Smith and Woolworths. There is no current pricing on the Sonic, but from the following specs we guarantee it won’t cost an arm and a leg.

The unlocked Huawei Sonic runs Android 2.3 operating system and is powered by a 600MHz processor. It may be a low cost Android handset, but it sacrifices very little on features, with a 3.5" capacitive touch screen, 3.2 mega pixel camera, WiFi connectivity, GPS and microSDHC card slot.
