Nokia Kinetic

Nokia kinetic is a magical phone that makes receiving calls, texts, emails more enjoyable by transforming digital information into kinetic movement. An electromagnet is placed at the bottom of the phone, allowing the weight to shift, causing phone to stand. This gives the user visual clues to check their phone, in a way that is fun. To ignore the call or cancel the alarm user can only provide phone tapping gently, causing the phone to fall back and return to stand-by mode. Spontaneous, magical, and not directed, which was built in Nokia Kinetic previous playfully innovative mechanisms Nokia and heritage. Jeremy Hopkins are genius designer behind this concept.
The phone responds to notifications through movement. An electromagnet in the base of the phone allows weight to be shifted which causes the phone to stand up when receiving a call.

To dismiss a call, the user can simply give the phone a gentle tap, causing it to fall back down again and return to standby mode. There’s no word on whether this design will make it to real life, but it’s an interesting concept that could be very useful. Standing up on its own is a much cooler notification than vibrate. We also won’t need to buy an additional phone stand accessory if it can do it by itself.
