Samsung Corby TXT B3210

Samsung has announced the launch of two message-centric mobile phones in India, the Samsung Corby TXT B3210 and Samsung Corby Mate B3313. Both the Samsung Corby mobile phones have been designed with the heavy-texting customer in mind.

The Samsung Corby TXT B3210 and Samsung Corby Mate B3313 are aimed at young mobile users in India.

“These phones are designed to meet the heavy messaging needs of youth, with their QWERTY keypad for quick messaging access, easy e-mail set up and quick access to popular social networking sites,” Samsung Electronics Director IT & Telecom Ranjeet Yadav said.

The Samsung Corby TXT and the Samsung Corby Mate will be available at a price of Rs 7,900 and Rs 7,300, respectively.
The Samsung Corby TXT B3210 has a 2.2-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 176 x 144 pixels.

It comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, 2-megapixel camera, with maximum photo resolution of 1600×1200 pixels, and video recording.

There is FM Radio with RDS, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth, USB, GPRS, EDGE, and messaging applications.

The phone offers easy access to social networking sites like Twitter, MySpace, and Facebook. The Corby TXT B3210 allows users to upload images and share them with others, using Picasa, YouTube, Flickr or Photobucket.

The phone comes with a 40MB internal memory, which is expandable to 8GB using a microSD (TransFlash).

The Samsung Corby TXT B3210 has quick launch keys on the front of the handset that allows one-touch access to key functions like music player, camera and messaging applications.

An interesting feature of the Samsung Corby TXT B3210 is that it allows users to change battery covers of different colors.
