Sony Ericsson has finally brought its new Android smartphone known as the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V to the US. All the interested ones can find the smartphone unlocked at Sony’s US online store at the price of $349.99. By the way today begins the estimated ship of the smartphone.
I do not know whether the fans of the Sony Ericsson would like to pay $349.99 for a smartphone, which has a 3.7-inch touchscreen display the resolution of which is 854 x 480 pixels and is equipped with a rear-facing 5MP camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording and a front-facing VGA camera. The other features of the smartphone include a microSD card slot, and a 1500mAh battery.
You may know that the market is full of high-end smartphones, some of which come with quad-core processors, but I am sure that the fans of Sony Ericsson will remain devoted their favorite mobile brand and will choose the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V. They will not take into account the fact that the smartphone is based on a 1GHz single-core processor and runs Android 2.3, while the other smartphones are going to get 4.0 Android Ice Sandwich update.
Hope Sony Ericsson will understand that its Xperia Neo V is not that smart one and will do some actions to correct its mistakes.
As for the memory the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V has 512MB RAM, 320MB of onboard memory. And among the connectivity features are WiFi, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, 5.76 Mbps HSUPA, and Bluetooth.
This is my point. Whether the price is good or not, I leave it to your discretion.
We are not fond of promoting Sony Ericsson Xperia phones because they are apparently not too fond of bloggers writing about their products, but this one is a bit too good to pass up.
A little more internal storage would have been good to accommodate operating system upgrades, but at Php13,400 from CMK Cellphones we are not going to complain too much.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V has a slower processor than the Samsung Galaxy W i8150 we looked at two days ago, less internal storage and a slower 3G radio. It is also chubbier and heavier than the the Samsung Galaxy W i8150. Now lets go to the good points.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V has the nice crisp display thanks to the Bravia engine, it has HDMI, a 3D sweep Panorama mode in the camera out and in my opinion a much cooler looking case.
This is one of those phones that amazes me with how far your peso goes these days.
